Sanad Winter: warmth for Gaza
Winter rain and cold reach families living in tents. A US$173 family winter pack keeps a whole family dry and warm.
Registered Canadian charity · Official CRA tax receipts
Winter in a tent
Nearly one million people in Gaza live in camps or temporary shelters (as of July 2026). When the rain comes, water runs through the tents, and mattresses and blankets stay wet for days.
Heavy rain damaged the shelters or belongings of about 55,000 families last winter (as reported for 2025–26), and acute respiratory infections were about 68% of reported illness cases in 2025. A dry bed, a thick blanket and a warm coat make the difference for a child this winter.
Every gift is delivered with an approved partner under our direction, to families chosen by need.
